The Big Funny Bunny greets the children in the field and leads them through a gentle "Hop Along". There are many eggs scattered though the evergreens. Picture the little ones hopping along to celebrate spring. With the games and hayrides to and from the fields, you will also spend time in the Animal Barnyard feeding the llamas, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. GREENHOUSE PLANTING TOUR
March 24th TO JUNE 13th
- 2008

This day begins with a farm tour hayride. Our hayride drivers make stops throughout the farm to show each group what is growing and what stage our crops are in. After the hayride, the wagons return to the greenhouses for a hands-on lesson in planting and nurturing of the seeds they are given. Written instructions go home with each group so the program can be enlarged by the teachers and parents. There will be changes within the 3 month period of this tour. Early on spinach is picked...later radishes are pulled for the children to take home and share with their families. We will also feed the farm animals. The restrooms and picnic tables are available for your use. Coloring sheets are in the teachers' guide. This tour is very educational...! The adults on this tour will be given a pack of Pansies.
